• Recording from the MIDI instrument or mic is just as easy.
• "Beat Mapper" syncs automatically audioclip into existing projects
• Incredibly easy to transpose the audio.
• Very good overview of projects and easy to move around. Roll the mouse button zooms in or out of time. Smart and smooth.
• Envelope for volume and panning put up with a few clicks. Similarly, fades and crossfades of different types.
• to change the tempo without changing key is excellent, and change pitch without tempo change can just as easily. Pull the rule!
• Add a VST instrument on a track. Do you have Finale, you can actually access to 375 Garritan instrument sounds!
• Why not publish the students' hit songs on Acid Planet? Free access.
• Burn CDs directly from the acid.
• It's easy to get started with ACID - a built-in guide will show you directly in the software what to do!

There are many more details, nifty tools and features, and overall I think this is the most affordable music production programs that have emerged.
