Important information regarding macOS Sonoma update 14.4
Due to a recent problem introduced in macOS Sonoma 14.4 impacting products industry-wide that use PACE/iLok, we are urging Synthogy Ivory customers to avoid updating to Sonoma 14.4 if you are running on Apple Silicon M2 or M3 hardware and use the Ivory Audio Unit plug-in with hosts such as Logic Pro.
If you are currently running Sonoma 14.4 and are experiencing problems using the Ivory Audio Unit in Logic or other AU hosts, we recommend downgrading to 14.3 if possible. Otherwise, we recommend temporarily running iLok License Manager and Audio Unit hosts in Rosetta mode until the problem is resolved. Instructions are here:
1. Quit all iLok and music-related applications (iLok License Manager, Logic, etc)
2. Find each app in your Applications folder, then right-click and choose Get Info.
3. In the Info window that opens, enable "Open using Rosetta".
